December Cards project
The December Cards Project brought christmas cards lovingly handwritten by people in the local community and beyond, to people in the local psych ward over Christmas.
Proudly supported by Banyule Council, Austin Hospital mental health precinct and Ivanhoe Library.
The project was started by sisters Jess and Melissa in the US where it's known as December Letters. The concept was brought to Australia in 2019 by Indigo Daya.
Also a big Thank You to Melina Schamroth from m.a.d.woman Foundation for donating 30 art packs to people in the ward. www.madwoman.com.au/foundation
